Flo Sheffield

In 2005 I was drawn to yoga during a difficult time in my life.  Through the physical aspect of yoga, study of yogic philosophy and the discover of Buddishm, I have been able to regain strength and clarity.  I continue to study and practice the Eight Limbs of Yoga aswell as the Noble Eightfold Path.  I strongly believe in the benefit of a daily yoga and meditation practice in order to maintain peace and happiness in other aspects of life.

I am eternally grateful to my compassionate and kind teachers.  My most influential teacher to date is Stephanie Keach, who I had the honor to complete my yoga certification under her guidance and who inspired me to find my own flow on this path.  Also, Marsha McNeight, who continues to patiently guide me through the Ashtanga Yoga practice.  I have been lucky to study with amazing yoga teachers such as Nicole Sopko, Shala Worlsey, Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, Dharma Mittra, and Manju Jois.

Each class I teach is heavily influenced by my own personal/daily practice of Flow yoga, Ashtanga and vipassana meditation.  I continue to learn and practice in order to share with others.  I hope to teach each class from a place of love and compassion, honoring the styles and methods I have studied.  Thank you to all teachers, past, present and future.
